Eighteen years ago, this May, our family was heading north from Atlanta in a twenty-six-foot U-Haul Truck. While loading the truck, I broke my arm, so it was in a temporary cast. We arrived in Morgantown to find that the house we had purchased a few months before still had renters living in it…the realtor forgot to tell them that the house had sold. Our arrival seemed like a big failure from the beginning, but God was up to something. It felt like a stone that was tossed into a pond, forming ripples that radiated outwards. People seemed
to hear about our situation and they stepped up to help: strangers brought toys for our children as we lived in a hotel for two weeks, a local coach rallied the high school football team to unload our U- Haul, someone dropped off food, and a doctor took care of my broken bone for a year, never sent me a bill, and became an annual donor. You never know what God is doing behind the scenes.
Coach Don Nehlen also heard about our arrival and he began opening doors for us to share the vision of Chestnut Mountain Ranch. Those ripples on the pond continue to this day and this place of hope is being built by the hands of many. Whether through a golf event, fundraising dinner, mud run, mission team, or a donation to the thrift store, everyone can have a fingerprint on this miracle on the mountain. We work with children every day who are in tough situations they did not ask to be in. Your participation in the 2023 Don Nehlen Golf Classic is helping us impact those children. Thank you!

Mountain Sponsorship | $4000 donation
Individuals or businesses making a contribution of $4000 or more will receive four tournament spots, on-site recognition during the awards presentation, event signage as a main sponsor, and a 3×6 banner displaying name and information on the first tee. Coach Nehlen will attend a private lunch with you and your employees scheduled at a later date.
