My family and I were struggling. I was disrespectful, unwilling to learn, and afraid to ask for help. This got me to the Ranch. I needed more than just my family to make things work again.
When I first toured the Ranch, I did not want to go. But then I realized I did need to go. I came to the Ranch on my birthday. At that time, it seemed like the worst thing ever. Now I realize it was the best “present” God could have given me.
My first few months I was trying to be perfect; it didn’t work out. Five months into the ranch I moved houses. This was when real change happened. I accepted Christ on February 3, 2023. I was tired of being alone, and decided that Christ was my only option. It took me a while to do it, but God made His plan and it ended with me being saved.
My adventure at the Ranch has included going to Wyoming, going to a camp in North Carolina, and killing my first buck. God has helped me so much and worked in my life a lot. Now I can talk to people without being afraid and tell the truth without immediately going to a lie. Most of all, God and the Ranch have reunited my family. It now feels like I have a family…a bigger, better, and more Godly family. The Ranch has done so much in my life and has made me a better, more Godly man.
